HP WinTV-PVR-150 MCE PCI 26552 5188-4202
Brings live TV, FM radio and TV recording to your low profile Media Center system
Add TV and FM radio to your Windows XP Media Center Edition PC with the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150MCE.
WinTV-PVR-150MCE has the best video quality of any Media Center TV tuner, plus adds FM radio.
Main Specification:PCI BusThe PCI interface and MPEG encoder uses the Conexant CX23416 chip. The encoder channel uses a DMA controller that is used to bus master data to the host. For control purposes, the CX23416 can act as an I2C master to control the Tuner, Video Decoder, and Audio processor. Additionally, various board control functions are provided by some general-purpose I/O (GPIO) ports on the CX23416.TV TunerThe TV tuner section consists of a programmable tuner module and a stereo decoder circuit. These parts are I2C slave devices, programmed using transactions created by the Conexant CX23416 chip acting as an I2C bus master.FM Radio TunerThe TV tuner has an option to provide FM radio in addition to TV. The FM radio is compatible with both the FM functions of Windows?? XP Media Center Edition version 1.1 and the Hauppauge WinTV-radio application.Audio DecoderThe stereo decoder circuit uses the Conexant Mako CX2584X. The analog audio output (or audio from the front panel and rear panel left and right audio inputs) is sampled by a WM8775 stereo ADC at 32 KHz, 44.1 KHz or 48 KHz rate, and is routed to the Conexant Mako chip as an I2S serial audio stream.Video DecoderThe Conexant Mako CX2584X video decoder uses an advanced chroma filter to minimize video artifacts. This device outputs a CCIR656 digital video stream to the Conexant CX23416 chip MPEG video encoder.MPEG EncoderThe CX23416 chip also operates as an MPEG audio and video encoder, in addition to its use as a PCI bus controller and DMA engine. The CX23416 chip encodes MPEG1 System Stream at resolutions up to 352 ?? 240 (NTSC), 352 ?? 288(PAL/SECAM), 500 Kbs - 6 Mbs. It encodes MPEG2 Program Streams up to 720 ?? 480 (NTSC), 720 ?? 576 (PAL/SECAM) at data rates of 500 Kbs - 12 Mbs. Audio encoding is done using MPEG1 Layer 2 - 32/44.1/48 KHz sampling rates, 16-bit Stereo, 192/224/256/384 Kbs data rates.
